Patio and Parklet Support Program
The Heart of Our City Activity Outdoor Patio and Parklet Support Program has been
established as an extension of the Main Street Program to provide support to businesses that are interested in
converting City-owned Right of Way (ROW) into expanded outdoor seating.
The program consists of the following:
1) 100% of City of Lethbridge issued fees and charges will be covered.
2) Financial support up to $5,000 matching for costs associated with a business designing and
purchasing their own Parklet or Major Patio.
3) Financial support up to $1,000 matching for plants, planters, furnishings, barriers, etc. for Patios and
Parklets.
4) City-owned Patio and Parklet infrastructure that will be lent out to businesses at no cost including
pre-built Parklet platforms, planters, and bistro tables and chairs.
