“Individuals with tablets and smartphones have access to much more than the OverDrive Collection of eBooks and eAudiobooks -Apps are available for Zinio digital magazines, Mango languages, Chinook Arch BiblioCommons and Freading eBooks. It’s an exciting time for the digital side of our library,” says Online Services Librarian, Raj Sritharan who will be presenting the gadget classes.

Raj says: “Digital content is great because it’s accessible from anywhere at any time. We started providing access to digital magazines through Zinio in the fall of 2012 and our patrons have checked out over 21,000 issues in our first year (fall of 2013). Patrons have told us how much they love being able to access their favourite magazine from anywhere they need something to read. At the end of the day, helping connect people with ideas is all that matters.”
