Thu SEP 12 Moving Memories: how to preserve home video & film Before digital, fleeting family moments were captured on film or video tape. How can this treasured footage be saved? Professional videographer Chris Oates will advise you on how to preserve and manage your collection, including storage, formats, transfer to digital, and more.


Thu OCT 17 Custom Prints So much can be done with archival images. Think outside the box with Faye Henderson from Master Image and explore possibilities like large-format printing (on paper, canvas, glass, plastic) and use of archival photos in promotional materials (brochures, cards, flyers).

Thu NOV 07 General Stewart John Smith Stewart is the most distinguished local military commander, with a local legion and school named after him. Learn about the general and his legacy from Warrant Officer (Ret’d) Glenn Miller.

Thu DEC 12 Christmas Ornaments & Cards Use reproductions of archival cards and photographs to make archives-inspired crafts: collaged greeting cards, a paper German Christmas star, and lightweight decoupage Christmas ornaments. You’ll learn about the history of greeting cards and Christmas ornaments from Leslie Hall.
