Heritage Arts for Families: Papier mâché

img

A more intensive workshop for your creative family

Papier mâché has been used the world over for both art and function. Journey through time to learn about helmets made of paper, artful puppets sculpted from paste and paper, beautiful decorative bowls and vases made only with recycled paper and paste. Crafting history like this will be messy but don’t worry you don’t have to do any of the clean up!

You’ll come away with at least two great projects: a puppet and a bowl. An adult must attend with the child to assist with the project.
