Unique Challenge Issued for Environment Week

Community and business leaders from the BRZ are invited to take a leading role this Environment Week from June 3 to 9.

Our city has been quite active in past years in supporting environmental issues. Once again various groups are helping create awareness during Environment Week. In addition to Clean Air Day on June 5, where transit is offered for free to all passengers, we're posing a challenge for the entire week.

Want to participate? Challenge yourself and your staff to either carpool or take the bus and challenge your downtown colleagues to do the same.

There will be a follow-up the week after to announce winners and see which businesses are aiming to continue this greener habit.

For more information on getting involved please contact Wayne Dwornik at 403-892-0450 or click here.
