Noji Chiropractic Becomes a Sustainable Leader in Lethbridge

With its latest installation, Noji Chiropractic & Wellness Centre has become a sustainable leader in the City of Lethbridge

Today a ribbon cutting ceremony kicked off the launch of the 10 KWp photovoltaic solar array.

The owners of the Noji Chiropractic believe this was the best step their business could take by demonstrating that renewable energy is both affordable and attainable.

"We want to be good stewards and create a healthy environment and culture in our chiropractic office. Sustainable and natural healthy lifestyles are the wave of the future. We know all businesses should be embracing renewable energy and making a difference. We wanted to walk the walk," said Dr. Janice Noji.

Energy Smart Canada installed the solar panels and a six-ton geothermal system and is proud to work with such a proactive business. They also installed the Helen Schuler Centre and YWCA as the first tow commercial businesses with solar installed, but this is the largest project by far.

"Noji Chiropractic is embracing renewable energy that reduces the energy they consume on a monthly basis. Just as they strive to restore bodies to the perfect balance, they are doing the same with their business," said Energy Smart Canada owner, Rudy Reger.

Environment Lethbridge, with its mission to promote Lethbridge as a leader in environmental sustainability, is pleased to see Dr. Noji embracing renewable energy.

"Environment Lethbridge wholeheartedly commends Noji Chiropractic & Wellness Centre for its forward thinking in developing this substantial solar energy project. Our organization intends to champion this wonderful initiative in hopes that other businesses will consider similar projects in the future. EL believes that by seeing the benefits of this kind of development right here in our community, more citizens will be encouraged to move forward with their own smaller scale solar installations," said Mike Spencer, Chair of Environment Lethbridge.
