When it comes to enjoying music, there truly is no better way to indulge your senses than an outdoor, live-music performance or by sitting at home laying down that old record player needle and crooning to the rich mahogany sounds of a vinyl record … on Saturday, September 13th both of those worlds will collide at the 4th annual Love & Records Festival, proudly presented by CKXU 88.3 FM.

The Love & Records Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the heart of the downtown – Galt Gardens Park. You’ll be able to partake in Western Canada’s largest outdoor record fair. The festival features live music as well as an excellent selection of food, clothing, jewelry, record and unique pop culture vendors.

The list of performers includes the likes of Global Drums, HBO3, Treeline with Shaela Miller, The Utilities, Dave McCann, Leeroy Stagger, Outlaws of Ravenhurst, The Wet Secrets, Invasives, Highkicks, Biblical, Skratch Bastid and Shout Out Out Out Out.

After-parties will also be scattered throughout the downtown after the festivities have come to a close in the park. Studio 54 will be hosting vinyl only electronica sets by DJ Pez, DJ Plush, DJ Marty Funkhauser and DJ Jaycie Jayce & Nik 7 (from Shout Out Out Out Out).
