Local speakers will be featured at TEDxLethbridge

Ideas worth spreading is the slogan of TED, the nonprofit conference that brings people together from the worlds of Technology, Entertainment and Design. Speakers are invited to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes or less with videos of these talks shared online at ted.com for the world to view and now the talks are coming back to Lethbridge.

In addition to their two annual conferences, TED independently organized events called TEDx are held on a smaller scale throughout the world to encourage community members to share information and ideas. TEDxLethbridge will be held on June 13 at the Yates Memorial Theatre.

This year's event topic will be "If Money Was No Object" and will feature a number of distinguished local speakers. Early bird registration is available until April 30 with tickets only $10 for students and $20 for adults.
