Find the coolest gadgets in town at Mike's Place!

In 2004, Mike’s Place started out of Mike’s garage as a computer shop and soon found business booming. By 2009, he had started offering cell phone repair as well as computer repairs. Soon, business was too much and his neighbor complained to the city. In December of 2012 Mike’s Place moved to their current location at 116 8th Street South.

Since moving downtown, Mike’s Place has 3 full time staff members and is open from Monday to Saturday. They now offer a lot more than just cell phone and computer repair. From cell phone accessories to security cameras, and drones to play with or to use for aerial photography, Mike’s Place offers more than your typical electronics store.

What sets them apart is their experience with cell phone repair, being the only Canadian distributor for license plate flashers and the only place in town with drones. They also let you see first hand what security cameras are going to look like, before you buy them. Not to mention the free coffee, popcorn and candy to snack on while you wait for a repair, something that adds that extra touch.

By being downtown, Mike’s Place is central and easy for all customers to get to. Right across 1st Ave S from the mall and just down from Galt Gardens is a major positive for the local business.

If you are in need of a computer or phone repair, some accessories, or just want to have a look at what Mike’s Place has to offer, visit them at 116 8th Street South or phone (403) 394-7700.
